Classic Casserole Preparation Instructions

Step 1

In a full-size steamtable pan* or other baking dish, combine 2 packets of sauce mix, 4 quarts of boiling water (4 quarts for O'Brien Style), and 4 ounces of butter or margarine. Stir until all ingredients dissolve.

*Packages include preparation instructions for half-size steamtable pan quantities as shown in photos.

Step 2

Add full carton of potato slices and stir.

Step 3

Bake uncovered in a preheated oven for 45 minutes (conventional oven @ 400 F or convection oven @ 300 F). For O'Brien Style potatoes, 45-60 minutes (conventional oven @ 400 F or convection oven @ 350 F).
